After careful consideration and loads of discussions with our customers, we’ve realised we’re just giving away too much.

Bad News

The FREE plan was originally introduced to make it easier for staff members to recognise each other, but over the past 2 years we’ve added a great deal of value to the FREE package, above and beyond recognition: Slack Integration, Notice Board, TV Stream View, Staff Directory, Birthday reminders, Give Gauge and mobile-friendly apps.

We believe that the $3/month price (Awesome plan) more accurately reflects the value that the product provides.

Why?

Once again, we didn’t make this decision lightly; we spoke to our customers and they suggested for us to charge. Many of our clients are of the opinion that if we charge their company for Hi5, the leadership would get more involved & engaged on the platform because of the cost implication. On top of this, with all the value and features we’ve been adding, we’ve had to hire a few more staff to support, maintain and keep building more features to make recognition simple in the workplace.

Good News

“I'm an existing FREE Plan customer. What do these changes mean for me?”

Right now, there are no changes to your current plan until December the 17th, 2018.

After that date, you can still keep using Hi5 for FREE, however if you add more users, you would be prompted to upgrade.

More Good News

  1. If you have less than 10 users, you can use Hi5 Awesome for FREE forever.
  2. You will automatically be upgraded to the Awesome Package (View recent Hi5’s forever, view recognition insights with our recognition dashboard, Crown Hi5’s)
  3. We are launching a stack of new features in 2019: Hi5’ing teams, better insights and reports, integration with G-suite, easy-to-view Organogram Chart, and much more!

Thanks again for your understanding, if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me directly.
